SPF · DKIM · DMARC auto-generated·Encrypted + spam-filtered·99.9% uptime target
Standard on every plan

Everything. No upsells.

You saw the address and the authentication in the hero. Here is the rest of what comes standard, the bits other providers charge extra for or skip entirely.

The address

Custom-domain email

Send and receive on your own name, not @gmail.com. Any registrar, any TLD: .com, .ca, .com.au, .io.

hello@yourbusiness.com
Inbox, not spam

Your mail reaches the inbox

SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are the three DNS records receiving servers use to decide whether to trust your mail. Generated and verified for your domain when you connect, with no manual records to copy wrong.

Desktop

Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail

Standard IMAP and SMTP. One set of settings, generated for you per mailbox.

Browser

Webmail, any browser

Mobile

iPhone Mail, Gmail app, Android

Native iOS and Android Mail apps. Spark, Airmail, K-9 Mail. Anything that speaks IMAP.

Secure by default

Secure business email, configured by default.

That focus buys something: the engineering goes into the mail itself. Encryption, domain authentication, and threat filtering are all on from the first message you send. No checklist, no homework. Here is exactly what runs underneath.

Encryption at rest
AES-256
Mail and attachments stored encrypted on disk.
Encryption in transit
TLS 1.2 / 1.3
Opportunistic TLS on inbound and outbound SMTP.
Domain authentication
SPF · DKIM · DMARC
DKIM signed on outbound by our MTA. SPF and DMARC records generated for you to publish at your registrar.
Spam filtering
Multi-layer, per message
Every inbound message passes reputation checks, content scanning, and a global fuzzy-hash match against 2 billion+ known spam signatures. Borderline senders are greylisted; retries from real servers get through, most spammers do not.
Virus scanning
On every attachment
Attachments are scanned for malware before the message reaches your inbox.
Intrusion protection
Behavioral IP blocking
Malicious IPs and abusive login attempts are detected and blocked at the edge before they reach your mailbox.
Infrastructure
Hardened cloud
Isolated tenants, restricted admin access, audit logging on every operation.
Why it costs less

Email. Not a suite.

You pay for mail that works, not for bundled software you already replace with free tools. That is the whole reason it starts at $1.50.

  • Docs
  • Drive
  • Teams
  • a bundled CRM
  • a meetings platform

If you already keep documents in free Google Drive or OneDrive, you stop paying twice. See our take on Google Workspace alternatives, or put us side by side with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Zoho Mail.

Setup

Up and sending in 5 minutes.

Three steps. No hardware, no IT ticket, no IP warming.

  1. 01

    Verify your domain

Sign up with your business domain. We give you a single TXT record to add at your registrar (under a minute of work).

  2. 02

Add MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records

Copy-paste the four records into your DNS panel, then click verify once they're live. Propagation usually takes a few minutes.

  3. 03

    Send your first email

Log into webmail or connect your existing mail client. Free migration starts the same day if you opt in.

FAQ

Straight answers before you switch.

The questions people ask before moving their mail to us: the product, the setup, the comparisons.

What is a business email server?
A business email server is the system that sends, receives, and stores email for your domain (you@yourbusiness.com). Running your own takes a Linux admin, careful DNS configuration, ongoing security patches, and IP reputation management. MailAfiniti runs the server for you, so you get the custom-domain mailbox while we handle everything underneath.
Do I need my own server to host business email?
No. Hosted business email replaces the self-managed server entirely. You point four DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) at MailAfiniti and your mail flows through our infrastructure: no hardware, no software updates, no IP warming. Setup takes about 5 minutes.
Which mail protocols does MailAfiniti support?
MailAfiniti speaks IMAP4 (port 993, SSL), SMTP submission (port 587, STARTTLS), POP3 (port 995, SSL), and CalDAV/CardDAV for calendar and contact sync. Standard ports, standard auth. Any RFC-compliant mail client connects with one set of settings, which we generate for you per mailbox.
How does MailAfiniti handle SPF, DKIM, and DMARC?
When you add your domain, MailAfiniti generates the exact SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records your domain needs. You copy them into your DNS registrar, then our verifier confirms each record is live before activation. DKIM is signed on outbound by our mail servers, so authentic mail from your domain is cryptographically tagged on every send.
Is hosted email secure?
Yes. Mail is stored encrypted with AES-256 and protected by opportunistic TLS in transit. SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records are auto-generated for your domain. You paste them into your registrar and we verify them, which prevents spoofers from sending mail that looks like it came from you. Inbound mail also passes through spam and virus filtering before it reaches your inbox.
How much storage do I get per mailbox?
10 GB per mailbox on the Starter plan, 30 GB on Professional, and 50 GB on Enterprise. Storage is per-user (not shared across the team), so a busy mailbox does not crowd out a quiet one.
How does MailAfiniti filter inbound spam and phishing?
Inbound mail passes through several layers before it reaches your inbox: connection-level RBL checks against Spamhaus to block known bad senders, SPF/DKIM/DMARC authentication enforcement to stop spoofing, plus content-based spam and virus scanning. Messages flagged as spam or unsafe are quarantined so you can review and release them if needed.
Does MailAfiniti work with Outlook on desktop?
Yes. MailAfiniti speaks standard IMAP and SMTP, so Outlook (Windows, Mac, Outlook 365) connects with a one-time settings paste. We generate the exact host, port, and authentication values for each mailbox you create, and our step-by-step guides cover Outlook on every version. You can also keep using Outlook calendar and contacts via CalDAV/CardDAV.
Can I use MailAfiniti with the Gmail app, Apple Mail, or my iPhone?
Yes. The native iOS Mail app, the Gmail app on iPhone or Android, Apple Mail on macOS, Thunderbird, Spark, Airmail, and any other RFC-compliant mail client connect with the same one-time IMAP/SMTP settings. We generate the values for you per mailbox, so setup is a copy-paste, not a configuration project.
What is the uptime target?
We target 99.9% uptime. The current architecture is a single hardened cloud region with redundant compute and audit logging. Specific SLA terms (uptime credits, exclusions, response windows) are detailed in our SLA document at /legal/sla.
